Nominations and campaigning for the position of World Assembly Delegate opened on 17 February 2018, and closed two weeks later. The Speaker of the Union, Anaaxes, served as the Election Administrator. The final vote was verified by Chancellor New Lettia. There were 25 total valid votes cast, with one full abstention.[1] The incumbent Delegate, Courelli won re-election after they received more votes than Omerica. Their second and final term of the First Courellian Constitutional Period began on 11 March 2018.

New Lettia nominated Courelli on 16 February, seconded by Goncar and thirded by Paschimbanga. Courelli accepted the nomination that same day. Freeland Newworldia nominated Hirematia and Omerica on the 21st. Omerica accepted the nomination on 1 March, and was seconded by Lawattsia. Hirematia declined the nomination on 2 March.[2]
