Nominations and Miscellaneous

The main nomination period lasted from 28 February 2014 to 11 March 2014, but certain nominations were made after this time. Anaaxes and Goncar ran for Minister of Foreign Affairs, and North American Republics ran for Minister of Domestic Affairs, while Kanoria declined nomination for Minister of Domestic Affairs and Millyland did not respond to a nomination for Minister of Immigration.[1] Voting for the Ministries of Domestic and Foreign Affairs lasted from 23 March to 30 March, while nominations for Minister of Immigration were extended; Mosktopia and Nytavuthar ran and voting lasted from 6 to 14 April.[2][3][4]

Campaigns posted in these elections included North American Republics for Minister of Domestic Affairs, Anaaxes and Goncar for Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mosktopia and Nytavuthar for Minister of Immigration.

Ministry of Domestic Affairs

With 6 votes in favor of confirmation and 0 against, in addition to 1 abstention, North American Republics was elected Minister of Domestic Affairs.[5]

Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Goncar and Anaaxes tied at 3 votes each, with 2 abstentions.[6] As such, the Cabinet conducted a tiebreaking vote, selecting Goncar as Minister 3-0-1, with Anaaxes elected Deputy Minister.[7]

Ministry of Immigration

With 10 votes and a majority, Mosktopia was elected Minister, while Nytavuthar was elected Deputy Minister with 0 votes. There was 1 abstention.[8]
