Elected Delegate

North American Republics

Nominations and campaigning for the position of World Assembly Delegate opened on 30 June 2018, and closed one week later. The Speaker of the Union, Hirematia, served as the Election Administrator. The final vote was verified by Chancellor Anaaxes. There were 16 total valid votes cast, with zero full abstentions.[1] North American Republics won election after they received more votes than Castillecrest and Freeland Newworldia combined. Their first term of the North American Republican Constitutional Period began on 15 July 2018.

Goncar nominated North American Republics on 30 June. North American Republics accepted the nomination the same day. Freeland Newworldia nominated themself on 4 July as well as nominating Ramelia, who declined their nomination on 5 July. Helvurium nominated Goncar, Koiho, Castillecrest, Brys Questions, and Hirematia on 4 July. Koiho's nomination was seconded by Ramelia. Hirematia, Koiho, and Brys Questions declined their nominations on 4 July, Goncar declined their nomination on 5 July, and Castillecrest accepted their nomination on 5 July. Ramelia nominated Helvurium and Paschimbanga on 5 July, both of whom declined the same day. Helvurim then nominated Fantasma Izquierdo and Plzen. Fantasma Izquierdo declined on 6 July, and Plzen neither accepted nor declined their nomination, thus creating a situation in which they de facto declined. [2]
