Grolsch was a member of the Social Liberal Union who served as 4th World Assembly Delegate, among other roles. Grolsch, officially the Kingdom of Grolsch (Grolschian: Konninkland vü Grolsch), is a sovereign state ruled as a unitary parliamentary constitutional citizens-approved monarchy in the Social Liberal Union. It shares land borders with Mons garle, United democracy of scientists and Michael gutman. Addtionally, the Kingdom shares maritime-only borders with Eggy216 and Avaerilon. Grolsch includes 27 Provinces and six Island Territories. The nation's population of 203 million is spread over a land area of more than 1.48 million km², including 67 islands. The majority of the country's population lives in several thousand cities connected by the nation's highly-efficient high-speed public transportation system. The capital of Grolsch is the seaside city of Uzvertim, a city of 1.25 million which used to be the seat of the SLU Administration, but now serves as the headquarters of the Union Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Department for Preventive Diplomacy & Dispute Resolution.

The history of Grolsch can be traced back thousands of years. Until the Early Middle Ages, the country was divided into thousands of small, semi-independent communities. The Trjillyland Federation presided over much of the region, including all of the modern Kingdom of Grolsch. Trjillyland stationed its army in Grolsch after it captured the land during the 240 - 704 Great Sealonic Unification, but other than policing laws and collecting a tax on family income to fund its army and its rulers' massive palaces, the Federation left local communities to govern daily life. The desire of powerful Grolschian families for more cooperation and a stronger stance against imperialistic behaviour by Trjillyland increased the support for a pro-independence movement, which ultimately led to Grolsch declaring independence in 1189. Independence was recognized in 1266. A recognized sovereign state since 1266, Grolsch has long had problems with internal economic division. Until the implementation of major social programmes and the expansion of the public transport network in the 17th century, residents in the coastal regions enjoyed a much higher quality of life than in more inland-located regions of the country. Helped by major investments in education and both publicly- and privately-funded research centres, Grolsch was quick to industrialize in the 18th and 19th century and became a maritime and industrial power in the region. However, major innovations in agriculture led to young people and families flocking to cities for more opportunities, eventually resulting in the government implementing a programme to dismantle some 9,000 ghost towns. At the end of the 20th century, the rise of Capital Province as a major international economic, financial and legal centre led to a class divide, with housing prices skyrocketing. This has led to low-wage workers having to relocate to other urban areas, resulting in other urban areas booming. The disbanding of the Grolschian National Intelligence Agency (NACICOG) after the 2013 scandal resulted in many former NACICOG rural research centres being abandoned, which led to the loss of hundreds of thousands of high-paying rural jobs.

The Kingdom of Grolsch was one of the first nations to have introduced direct democracy on a local level. It was also one of the first nations to have introduced an elected national assembly. Grolsch has a history of liberalism and upholding and actively promoting civil rights, freedoms and democracy domestically and internationally. Meanwhile, the Kingdom also runs a less powerful assembly of acclaimed scientists, engineers, athletes, artists and businesspeople alongside its democratically-elected Senate and House.

Grolsch is an active participant in international affairs. It is a member of the World Assembly. The Kingdom is a Member State of most WA agencies, committees and funds. Grolsch has been an active Social Liberal Union member for a very long time. The nation participates in a variety of SLU programs and held most executive offices sometime during its membership. The SLU's Union Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Department for Preventive Diplomacy & Dispute Resolution is located in Uzvertim, along with the World Assembly School for International Judicial Occupations. Groschian banks are legally obliged to accept the official SLU Union Reserve's currency.

The Ministry of Defence is Grolsch' largest employer, with a staff of more than 4 million. It consists of the Grolschian Foreign Intelligence Agency, National Space Warfare Command, National Cyber Army, Army, Navy, Air Force and the Special Operations Command.

Grolsch has a market-based mixed economy, ranking 21st of 168 countries in the Union Research Programme's Index of Economic Freedom. It has the 62nd-highest per capita income and the 43rd-highest after-tax personal income in the region. In 2014, the URP ranked Grolschian children the happiest in the Social Liberal Union. The Grolschian education system is ranked 16th in the SLU, whereas its armed forces are ranked the 8th most powerful. Its police force is ranked as "Friendly" and "Nearly Non-Violent" by the International Commission for the Prevention of Use of Force by Police Services. The Health Service of Grolsch is ranked the fifth-best in the Social Liberal Union. The National Research Centres Authority is ranked the 12th-best national research agency in the region, while the Water Management Agency is ranked best national water management service in the SLU. The National Government of Grolsch is ranked "Transparant" by PeopleGov.[1]

Gaining independence from Trjillyland in 1266 in a process that lasted 77 years, humans have been living on Grolschian lands for more than 8,000 years. The Trjilahdouka hunting and gathering peoples were the first group of people to establish some kind of government in the territory. They founded the vedaruso (community farm) Uzvorpin in 4876 BC some 300km to the north of the current City of Uzvertim. After a war with the Mons Garlean Padíce People's Kingdom wiped out most of the native Trjilahdouka population, some of the Padíce peoples decided to settle in what is now Groslch. The South Padíce peoples and Trjilahdouka worked hard on overcoming their differences and eventually agreed to form a federation of communities and city-states which covered most of modern Grolsch.

A string of wars and conflicts in the Middle Ages resulted in smaller communities merging into larger entities, which culminated into some 300 states - some Kingdoms, others democracies - by 1056, the year in which the powerful Drozvertim shipbuilding family declared war on 87 states simultaneously. Through a combination of military and economic warfare, they succeeded in uniting most of Southern Grolsch under one state, which they called the Kingdom of Grolsch. Through a much more peaceful process of communal projects and social and economic cooperation, the sphere of influence of the Drozvertim family, not least because of the cooperation of the Püznetsov, Drowelos and Püverö families and the Trjillyland Federation, resulted in the Drozvertims effectively exercising power on all of modern Grolsch by 1170. In 1176, The four most powerful families in the Kingdom issued the Statement on Rights and Privileges, a document guaranteeing rights, freedoms and democracy to everyone in the lands ruled by the Kingdom. At this point, the Trjillyland Federation which had officially presided over Grolsch since 1104 became increasingly uncomfortable with the structure of the powerful families exerting power over the lands.

After an unsuccessful psychological warfare campaign on the families, Trjillyland's efforts culminated into the Night of Cries in 1184, when Trjillyland Army members brutally murdered 2,689 members of the twenty most powerful Grolschian families. Following this, the popularity of the alliance with the Federation dwindled, especially as other Federation territories did not have the same liberal values and rights and freedoms as Grolsch. In 1185, even under intense pressure not to do so by the Trjillyland Federation, several prominent members of the so-called Twenty Families of Cries and businesspeople and artists devised a plan to create a national Grolschian Parliament and eventually declare independence from the Federation, a plan that was executed in 1189. While Trjillyland tried to stop the process of Grolsch becoming an independent state through various means, they could not do so and were eventually forced to recognize the independence movement as the true government of the lands of Grolsch in 1266.

After independence, a power struggle resulting in a perceived need for increased spending by families to win support was met by bankruptcies of multiple families. Throughout the 13th and 14th century, the original group of founding families gradually removed themselves from positions of power to introduce more of a democratic system. While this system flourished, it also resulted in chaotic scenes in local government, including differing standards for roads, inefficient planning and red rape. In 1419, National Assembly Member Vadulos Estivinozas Strabinas Estoban Erciadeau successfully introduced a bill establishing provinces and other administrative entities to streamline governance of the vast land that is Grolsch. The new system of municipalities, provinces and a centralized government proved to be exactly what the Kingdom of Grolsch needed. Social cohesion and infrastructure developed rapidly, and the problems of the old system were taken care of.

In the 16th century, the coastal cities began to specialize in large-scale fishing and international commerce. Meanwhile, the rural population was largely left behind. This changed with the discovery of coal in the north in 1578. With the establishment of large-scale mining and the National School System for Mining, the north became the most wealthy region as well as the region with the highest quality of life in Grolsch within 50 years. The availability of cheap land and generally good public transport meant that, contrary to in most other nations, Grolschian mine workers lived in magnificent detached homes, at times matching the beauty of the homes of successful Uzvertim shipping tycoons and Army Generals. Coastal cities developed at a steady pace. Cities like Ovoderas and Uzvertim invested a lot of resources in education, public health and security.

The 18th - 19th century was a period of rapid economic expansion, better health and a much-improved quality of life for nearly all Grolschians. The country introduced its first fully tax-funded national healthcare system in 1714 and it introduced the first National High-Speed Public Transport Plan, which called for high-speed passenger trains, overnight mail and cargo, in 1864. The pace of industrialization came with strings attached, including pollution. This eventually led to an exodus of workers and families from mining towns and cities with a heavy industry-based economy. Grolsch became a regional industrial and maritime power. In 1896, the Central Government introduced its National Ghost Town Dismantling Plan, in which the government would acquire the properties in 9,042 ghost towns and redevelop them to ensure sustainable small towns in rural areas of the country.

The 20th century saw multiple world wars, all of which Grolsch was involved in but none of which were fought on Grolschian soil. Inventions such as light bulbs, household appliances and high-speed electric trains made the life of Grolschians much more comfortable. Traditionally a technology-crazy people, Grolschians embraced the computer en masse, which resulted in a huge boom in high-paying jobs in certain areas of the country from the 1940s on. The emergence of Capital Province as a major global business, legal, administrative and financial centre resulted in a real estate boom which forced lower-paid workers out of the provincial housing market, leading to development of new cities just outside of the province.

Grolsch is located in multiple geographic zones. The Upolaru Islands are a group of low-laying islands near the Southwestern Coast region. The 264 islands vary in size from 0.4 km² (Izqurö) to 289 km² (Maputo). The coastal regions are dominated by low-laying deltas and reclaimed land. Central Grolsch is flat with rolling hills. The north and east of the country are predominantly mountainous.

The climate varies according to the geographic zone. The Islands have to do with a mild Mediterranean climate, while most of the coastal regions suffer from excessive rain and mild temperatures. Central and northern Grolsch are located in a mild climate, though north Grolschian winters are known to be long. Several regions in eatern Grolsch are known for their subarctic climate. The Zublovsas region is located in a year-round winter climate with the occasional snowstorm. Zublovsas is the only region in Grolsch relying entirely on underground transport.

Due to various factors, Grolsch has to deal with a great number of environmental concerns. Excessive mining in central Grolsch has resulted in groundwater pollution, deforestation and collapsing underground structures. While this is now being dealt with, environmental damage caused by mining was mostly ignored until the 1993 Zuovski disaster, in which former Prime Minister Zuovski died in a mining accident. Other heavy industries, including coal-fired power plants in the Pado Valley region in North Grolsch Province, have resulted in several sites being declared not inhabitable. Maintaining and upgrading the waste-handling systems in Capital Province remains a challenge, with limited space and expensive land. This has resulted in several communities burning their waste, further decreasing the air quality.

In Grolsch, national parks are protected by a complex system of rules and regulations, though the Armed Forces and intelligence community are exempt and have caused great damage to some of the country's most valuable national parks. The National Parks System consists of 5,799 areas, including more than one thousand National Parks and more than four thousand Provincial Parks. The National Nature Areas Management Authority (Grolschian: NatüGrolsch) manages over 2,000 of these areas.
