Nominations and Miscellaneous

Nominations opened 3 April 2019, and closed 10 April. Speaker Courelli served as Election Administrator. Voting began on 10 April, and concluded 17 April. Brys Questions and Anaaxes were nominated and ran for Minister of Foreign Affairs. North American Republics, Kanoria, Paschimbanga, and Ramelia were nominated for Minister of Domestic Affairs; North American Republics and Ramelia ran. Koiho, Helvurium, Eriadni, and Anaaxes were nominated for Minister of Immigration; Koiho, Helvurium, and Eriadni declared their candidacies.[1]

Two candidates published platforms for this election: Eriadni[2] and Helvurium[3], both for Minister of Immigration.

Ministry of Domestic Affairs

The candidates for Minister of Domestic Affairs were North American Republics and Ramelia. Ramelia garnered 8 votes, a majority, and thus was duly elected Minister; North American Republics garnered 7 votes and in second place was duly elected Deputy Minister.[4]

Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The candidates for Minister of Foreign Affairs were Anaaxes and Brys Questions. Anaaxes garnered 12 votes, a majority, and thus was elected Minister; Brys Questions garnered 4 votes and in second place was duly elected Deputy Minister.[5]

Ministry of Immigration

The candidates for Minister of Immigration were Koiho, Helvurium, and Eriadni. Koiho garnered 7 votes in the first round, Helvurium 6, and Eriadni 2. There being no majority, Eriadni was eliminated and their votes redistributed. This gave Koiho 8 votes, thus they were duly elected Minister; Helvurium had 7 votes and was duly elected Deputy Minister.[6]
